چکیده
The demand for sustainable construction materials has driven the exploration of various innovative approaches to enhance properties concrete reducing its environmental impact. present study examines effects incorporating recycled aggregate (RCA), slag cement, alccofine, and glass fibers into mixtures. In study, it been observed that (RCA) exhibits inferior properties, including higher water absorption poorer performance, when compared natural coarse aggregate. Various replacement levels RCA were utilized in this assess impact on performance. Alccofine, a supplementary cementitious material, is used partially replace binding material. Additionally, added flexural tensile behavior concrete. mixtures designed meet required strength durability specifications. A comprehensive testing program was conducted evaluate fresh hardened slump cone test performed assessing workability For concrete, compressive strength, split are evaluated. results demonstrated RCA, improved mechanical properties. use led reduction resource consumption, namely On other hand, generated demolition (C&D) waste effectively. Portland cement (PSC) alccofine (A) long-term addition significantly enhanced performance resulting crack resistance overall This introduces novel concept by exploring potential utilization aggregate, combination as high-performance components Previous research not extensively studied materials, making unique approach. These findings contribute development eco-friendly practices provide insights engineers, researchers, practitioners aiming incorporate construction.

An Experimental Investigation of Using Recycled Aggregate in Concrete
One of the major challenges of our present society is the protection of environment; with respect to this some of the important elements are reduction of natural raw materials and consumption of waste materials. The recycled aggregate sample of size 20mm which is the maximum size of aggregate in reinforced cement concrete is collected from demolished structures in our surrounding areas and the ...
متن کاملAssessing relationships among properties of demolished concrete, recycled aggregate and recycled aggregate concrete using regression analysis.
Recycled demolished concrete (DC) as recycled aggregate (RA) and recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) is generally suitable for most construction applications. Low-grade applications, including sub-base and roadwork, have been implemented in many countries; however, higher-grade activities are rarely considered. This paper examines relationships among DC characteristics, properties of their RA and...
متن کاملReactivity in Recycled Concrete Aggregate
Full scale tests with crushed concrete used in sub-bases in roads show that the material has capacity to reharden, very slowly but also after prolonged periods of time. The rehardening process in crushed concrete aggregate has been analysed with a thermogravimetric method, comparing the change in chemical composition in the aggregate when set with water, compacted and hardened. It has been show...

متن کاملRecycled glass as a partial replacement for fine aggregate in structural concrete – Effects on compressive strength
Waste management is becoming a major issue for communities worldwide. Glass, being nonbiodegradable, is not suitable for addition to landfill, and as such recycling opportunities need to be investigated. Due to the high material consumption of the construction industry, the utilisation of waste glass as a partial replacement for fine aggregate in structural concrete is particularly attractive. ...
